Process Control Assistant Job Description We are seeking a motivated and skilled Process Control Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying production plans, implementing these plans through effective monitoring and controlling of the production process, and analyzing demand developments. You will also be involved in forecasting and planning of production, controlling progress, and initiating necessary actions to meet production deadlines. Responsibilities Develop and modify production plans. Implement plans through monitoring and controlling the production process. Lead analysis of demand developments and forecasting. Lead the control of progress and initiate action when necessary. Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure production deadlines are met. Establish mid- and long-term production plans reflecting production capacity and constraints. Inform relevant departments of production plan changes and update documents accordingly. Prepare status and performance reports and resolve production issues. Regularly communicate with other production departments for information sharing. Meet all other requirements as assigned. Essential Skills Manufacturing engineering Automotive industry experience Process engineering Industrial engineering Knowledge of raw material and production process Cost management Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering major preferred) Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications Advanced degree in a related field preferred Years of experience from the automotive industry strongly preferred Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Work Environment This role operates within a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment, where regular communication with production departments is essential. The successful candidate will utilize various technologies and applications to manage production processes effectively. Standard office attire is expected.
