Production Control Engineer Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a Production Control Engineer within our IT Infrastructure division. This position falls under our North America Fuels line of business and is located in Atlanta, GA. In this role you will be responsible for the successful implementation, monitoring, and support of company-authorized software and systems across various lines of business (LOB) within the Corpay Infrastructure environment. This role involves troubleshooting production-related infrastructure and software issues, as well as researching, designing, and prototyping solutions to enhance the growth, stability, and performance of both new and existing systems. The ideal candidate must be capable of assessing the environment from both tactical and strategic perspectives, demonstrating strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will report directly to the Production Control Manager and regularly collaborate with other IT teams.

Responding to tickets within defined service-level agreement (SLA) timeframes.

Using technical knowledge to triage and, when necessary, assign tickets to appropriate engineering or environment support teams.

Applying advanced problem management skills to identify trends and provide insights that help eliminate recurring issues.

Prioritizing problems and enhancement requests to meet end-user needs within SLAs.

Setting high standards for routine operations and problem resolution across multiple platforms.

Supporting the transition of new IT processes and systems from development to production environments.

Communicating project progress, issues, and change requirements to management and users.

Maintaining a broad understanding of technical troubleshooting tools and methodologies.

Documenting problem resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base system.

Being available for 24/7 support on a rotating on-call basis (one week per month).Planning and execute scheduled weekend software deployments and maintenance activities.

Collecting, condense, and communicate information to aid in the development of new solutions.

Performing hands-on development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.

Qualifications & Skills3+ years of Linux experience.3+ years of Windows SQL Server experience (SSMS proficiency).Strong knowledge of SQL scripting.

Experience with both Oracle and SQL Server databases.

Solid shell scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, PHP).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving ability, and a demonstrated sense of urgency.4-year degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferredExperience with Azure and AWS cloud technologies is beneficial.

Familiarity with OpenShift and Mulesoft Anypoint development platforms is beneficial.

Knowledge of GitLab software version control systems is preferred.
