Our client, a leader in next-generation aviation technology, is seeking a Powertrain Process Engineer
- Battery to join their team.
As a Powertrain Process Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting battery manufacturing processes for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, hands-on technical expertise, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
Define and develop battery manufacturing process sequences for a new production facility.
Create process specifications for supplier RFQs and conduct technical and financial assessments.
Manage equipment installation and process validation for new plant ramp-up.
Collaborate with suppliers on technical installation plans, acceptance requirements, and pre-shipment studies.
Coordinate with internal teams and leverage external networks to execute battery planning and launch activities.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in aviation or automotive battery, underbody process engineering, or quality.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to San Jose, CA.
Proficient in MS Office and Google Docs; strong teamwork and independent project management.
Valid driver’s license and high-energy, hands-on work ethic.
