IES. RESPONSIBILITIES & OPPORTUNITIES
Consult with customers to understand their needs, applications, and opportunities for improvements Recommend solutions, and demonstrate new technologies and product solutions Cultivate and prioritize strong customer and partner relationships Grow sales and generate new business Prepare presentations, proposals, and quotes to secure orders Maintain a high level of application and product expertise, as well as competency with complementary products
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TALENTS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (equivalent technical degree and/or experience will also be considered) Knowledge of Industrial Automation & Control Systems including
PLC, RIO, HMI, SCADA
& Industrial PCs (Siemens experience a plus) Knowledge of VFD & Motor Control (Siemens experience a plus) Knowledge of Industrial Networking (Understanding of Profinet & Profibus a plus) Knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation – Level, Pressure, Flow (not required, but a plus) Knowledge of Power Distribution Systems – LV/MV Switchgear, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Panelboards, Switchboards (not required, but a plus) Passionate about serving customers and facilitating partnerships Effective listening, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Ability to identify customer needs, present solutions and product recommendations, and close orders Ability to educate customers and provide product demonstrations Strong work ethic Frequent travel within the assigned area, which may include some overnight travel Must possess a valid driver’s license
