Relocation Available Focus:
The Improvement Engineer is responsible for leading the plant-level improvement process by gathering and analyzing data, evaluating improvement opportunities, and implementing improvement projects while ensuring plant improvements align with business objectives.
Improvement Engineer Essential Responsibilities:
Works to optimize operations to meet Business and plant goals. Initiates change to Plant Operating procedures. Implements best practices to optimize operations including but not limited to pipeline and tracking tools ownership. Ensures regulatory and responsible care compliance via operating discipline. Partners with Plant Process Control Coordination to ensure process control optimization; partners with plant operations to generate process data for improvement opportunities.
Improvement Engineer Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree• in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering disciplines preferred. 1+ years of experience leading plant-level improvement processes in a chemical manufacturing environment. Prior management of vendor proposals and quotations, contractor bids, and development of desired solutions preferred. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work in a team environment. Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver’s license.
