Production Engineer Position Available In Hancock, Mississippi

Responsible for all the phases in spiral pipe manufacturing; Design pipe cutting plans based on coil weight, pipe size, wall thickness; Develop inspection protocols and process qualification tests to perform root-cause analysis and ensure the manufactured pipes are meeting the quality standards and specifications; Develop process improvement plans to streamline production, reduce cycle time and minimize waste; Conduct cost benefit analysis for production processes, equipment upgrades, and materials to ensure cost-effectiveness; Research on industry trends advancements in manufacturing technologies, and best practices for spiral pipe manufacturing, Provide training on various production techniques to improve production.

Job Requirments:

 Minimum Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering or closely related field, and 1-year experience in Spiral Pipe Manufacturing. In Lieu of master’s degree and 1 year of experience, employer will accept bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above-mentioned field, and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in Spiral Pipe Manufacturing. Experience must include atleast 1 year of experience in preparing pipe cutting plans based on coil weight, pipe size, wall thickness; performing process qualification test, and preparing process improvement plans.
