Bodyweld Production Engineer Position Available In Union, Mississippi

Job Title:

Manufacturing Engineer Overview:

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who prioritizes safety and continuous improvement. You’ll support production and maintenance teams by solving problems, improving processes, and standardizing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead projects and teams using tools like milestone tracking and KPI reporting. + Analyze process data and lead improvement (kaizen) activities. + Solve technical issues with equipment and integrate new technologies. + Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and quality teams. + Conduct process audits to ensure quality standards are met. + Manage contractors and suppliers, including job scope and safety planning. + Perform risk assessments and feasibility studies for process changes. + Write technical instructions to meet quality requirements.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing.

Preferred Experience & Knowledge:

While not required, experience in the following areas is a plus: + Automotive manufacturing + Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement + Welding processes and equipment troubleshooting + Robot automation, PLC communication, and system integration + Project scheduling and KPI management (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost) + Body weld operations and budget management + Programming for robots and vision systems + Software tools like Catia and/or Carrot3 + Equipment Kanban systems and machine risk assessments
