Volvo Trucks Lead Industrial Launches at the Core of Global Truck Operations Netgroup Engineering is hiring an Industrialization Project Manager to lead manufacturing-focused projects at Volvo Trucks in Greensboro, NC. In this high-impact role, you’ll guide cross-functional operations teams through the industrialization of new products-ensuring readiness across manufacturing, logistics, quality, and production. This position reports directly to the Director of the Project Office within Group Trucks Operations (GTO). You’ll be responsible for driving Volvo’s operational commitments using both SAFe Agile and the Volvo Product Development Process (DVP)-while aligning with GTO’s long-term industrial strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead 1-2 project teams (typically 10-15 people) across manufacturing engineering, logistics, production, and quality Own delivery of Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QDC) targets through Volvo’s DVP process Act as GTO’s representative in cross-functional product development teams Define project resource needs and align with functional managers Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and key deliverables Report on GTO readiness throughout the product lifecycle Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and change control Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred) 4+ years of experience leading end-to-end projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting Familiarity with Volvo’s DVP (waterfall) process, SAFe Agile , and Volvo Performance System (VPS) Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills Proven ability to manage change, risk, and cross-functional dependencies PMP certification is a plus About Netgroup Engineering Netgroup is a long-term engineering partner to global OEMs like Volvo, focused on building high-performing consultant teams for strategic projects.
