Job Description:

Xylem is seeking an experienced Process Engineer in the Southeast US area to manage the various processes of water and wastewater treatment plants. This will be accomplished by working with operations personnel and our customers, reviewing process data and understanding the root cause issues of problems at plants. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise and the ability to operate without direct supervision, often traveling to customer sites.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks
Provide support in the startup and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment systems
Review control narratives and work with integration teams to ensure equipment is operated as intended
Provide training to customers in equipment operations and processes
Organize, review and interpret data from customer’s plants for process control and improvement
Communicate technical and commercial issues
50% travel to customer sites

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Engineering
4-10 years of experience
Clean driving record and ability to obtain and maintain clearance to drive a company provided vehicle.

Knowledge and Experience:

Experience in installation, start up, operation and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment equipment is preferred
Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination and stakeholder engagement
A self-starter, capable of working independently
Ability to identify issues quickly and develop effective solutions
Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role’s pay falling within that range. The starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
