Our Client, a Business Manufacturing And Supply company, is looking for a Controls Engineer III for their Wilmington, NC location.
Responsibilities:
Assist team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operation. Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces.
Support process and product optimization/improvement efforts.
Provide training for engineers and/or production associates as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems.
Participate in capital projects.
Some after hours, on-call support may be needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; or equivalent experience
5+ years in a technical role or relevant experience
Knowledge in computer and PLC programming skills such as: VB, .net, C, Realtime systems or similar
Ability/experience integrating computers into manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and lower cost
MS Windows, iFIX, EthernetIP I/O, Microsoft Office. Real time controls systems, experience with motion systems (desired but not required), SCADA, Twincat
Experience in production support in a manufacturing environment
Problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to understand real needs behind operations and engineering requests
Ability/experience troubleshooting simple low voltage electrical circuitry Why Should You Apply?
