Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Systems Operations Engineer – Python/MongoDB Support with our client in the financial Industry located in Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC and Dallas, TX. This is a 24+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Provide production BAU (Business As Usual) support for high-availability environments
Monitor and troubleshoot flows involving MongoDB and Python-based systems
Read and interpret Python code to support production systems and root-cause issues.
Support initiatives involving Generative Artificial Intelligence, Large Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Model Risk.
Participate in incident management, performance tuning, and system health monitoring.
Collaborate across engineering and data science teams to ensure system stability and risk mitigation
Consult on or participate in moderatelyplex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering
Contribute to large-scale planning related to Systems Operations Engineering deliverables
Review and analyze moderatelyplex operational challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Contribute to the resolution of moderatelyplex issues and consult with peers to ensure alignment with function-specific policies, procedures, andpliance requirements
Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders across Systems Operations Engineering

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, military service, or education
Experience supporting MongoDB in a production environment
Experience with Python and machine learning models in an operational context.
Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, Model Risk Management, and Prompt Engineering
Background in financial services or other highly regulated industries

Pay Range:

$ 47 – 57
