Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm What you will do: As an Engineering Technician, you will provide frontline support to Manufacturing Areas. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing Cell leads on initiatives that drive toward best practices in support of quality improvements and business objectives. Leverage Manufacturing knowledge to evaluate impact of equipment repairs. Define & implement specific solutions to technical problems, completing the tasks associated with such projects and writing reports that clearly document the results Participate and execute in the development and improvement of the manufacturing process for existing and new products, including drafting and executing FAIs Initiate and lead change control activities such as updating inspection plans, routers, gage drawings, and SOPs Investigate and disposition Non-Conforming Product from quarantine through partnership with cell Quality Engineers. Participate in development and execution of equipment validations/qualifications Support investigation for NCR and CAPA initiatives Provide support on production equipment work orders, preventative maintenance activities, and product quarantine process. Provide support for gage qualification, gage failure investigations, change control activities, master sample qualifications, and inspection sheet updates. Support troubleshooting activities and investigations in production cells on equipment and production process. Support Production cells with safety, quality and process improvement efforts. Support Cell Engineers with efforts to maximize productivity and investigate productivity misses in production cells. Interface with cross-functional teams and vendors on technical discussions and investigations. Provide insight and analysis to leaders on cell productivity and efficiency, leading to short-term and long-term improvements.
What you need:
Required High School Diploma or GED Five (5) years’ relevant work experience or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, or related discipline Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced GMP controlled environment Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft projects, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Intermediate working knowledge of CNC machines, and inspection equipment
