Production Engineer
- GMP Manufacturing A leading health and wellness manufacturer is seeking a Sr.
Production Engineer with 7+ years of GMP (drug or food) experience in a plant environment. This role supports manufacturing and packaging operations and is ideal for a hands-on, solutions-driven engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Full-Time, On-Site Key Responsibilities Daily Operations + Analyze production data and address urgent issues + Troubleshoot equipment and process problems + Track and improve line efficiency using data tools + Monitor and validate the impact of implemented changes Continuous Improvement + Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and improve efficiency + Use DMAIC methodology to solve problems + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute initiatives Subject Matter Expertise + Serve as SME for packaging equipment and technology + Train operations and support teams + Apply core engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges Capital Project Management + Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and justifications + Support equipment installations and process improvements (URS, FAT, IQOQ, PQ) + Manage projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders Quality & Compliance + Investigate root causes of quality incidents + Recommend and implement effective CAPAs + Ensure compliance with cGMP, OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations Must-Have Hard Skills +
GMP Manufacturing Expertise:
7+ years in a regulated plant environment (drug or food) +
Engineering Degree:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Engineering Management +
Lean Six Sigma:
Practical experience with DMAIC and continuous improvement tools +
Technical Documentation:
Ability to read and interpret schematics, flowcharts, and technical drawings +
Capital Project Management:
Experience with URS, FAT, IQOQ, PQ, and cradle-to-grave project execution +
Quality Systems:
Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments and CAPA processes +
Packaging Equipment:
Deep understanding of packaging systems and automation technologies +
Data Analysis:
Proficiency in using production data tools (Pareto charts, downtime tracking, etc.) +
Mentorship:

- $64.90/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
