Job Description The Production Engineer will provide technical expertise and solutions to support quality and operations at a manufacturing and packaging site. This position involves exploring innovative and alternate solutions to meet business needs while delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires close collaboration with the entire Engineering team, as well as Validation, Quality, and Operations teams. Daily interaction with various functional areas and multi-functional teams, including plant managers, supervisors, maintenance, safety, and scheduling, is essential to implement changes and resolve issues impacting plant safety, quality, and efficiency. This position offers substantial opportunities for growth both in the role and within the company. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise to support manufacturing and packaging operations. Explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance quality and efficiency. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Operations teams. Interact daily with plant managers, supervisors, and other functional teams to resolve issues. Investigate and resolve problems impacting plant safety, quality, and efficiency. Implement changes to improve production equipment, reduce waste, and increase uptime. Essential Skills 7+ years of direct engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Engineering Management preferred. Experience working with consumer packaged goods (CPG). Proven track record of improving production equipment efficiency. Strong root cause problem-solving skills. Direct experience as a production engineer. Additional Skills & Qualifications Pharma experience is a plus. Deep understanding of engineering fundamentals related to equipment operation. Ability to conduct sound economic analyses with prudent financial judgment. Initiative to identify and pursue projects aligned with broad goals. Proven ability to meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment. Experience with quality systems in a GMP-regulated environment is strongly preferred. Hands-on knowledge of production operations and associated control systems is preferred.
