In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing packaging solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that packaging designs align with production capabilities and customer needs. Your expertise in materials, processes, and engineering principles will be crucial in optimizing packaging performance and sustainability. Responsibilities Design and develop packaging solutions using CAD software such as Creo and AutoCAD. Collaborate with product development teams to create packaging that protects products during transportation and storage. Utilize knowledge of plastics injection molding, tooling, and process engineering to enhance packaging designs. Conduct testing of packaging materials and prototypes to ensure compliance with industry standards. Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in design specifications. Work with industrial equipment and robotics to streamline packaging processes in the factory setting. Troubleshoot any issues related to packaging design or production processes. Maintain documentation of all design changes, tests, and results for future reference. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in packaging design and development within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Creo and AutoCAD. Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes and tooling design. Experience with GD&T principles is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• SOP for internal management/revision of packaging material & artwork
• Create standard workflow for packaging material & artwork revisions
• SOP for management of REGN packaging material technical drawings
• SOP & 7 WIs for Dividella (cartoning machine) recipe development
• SOP & 5 WIs for Pester (case packer/palletizer) recipe development
• Packaging requirement gap assessments for ex-US product markets
• Administrative tasks such as material onboarding, inventory management, and move order requests The Packaging SOP and Recipe Development Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs) for various packaging processes and equipment. The role requires a focus on both Dividella cartoning machines and Pester case packers/palletizers.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and robotics is an advantage.
