Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities of theengineering and maintenance sector on a Beverage metal can-makingPlant. Development and evaluation of key performance indicators forPlant Performance and Maintenance; set-up and preventivemaintenance planning of Plant Equipment (Forming Press, PrintingPresses, Curing Ovens, Chemical Washers, Air Compressed Systems,Conveyance Systems, Lubrication Systems, Necking Systems andPalletizing Systems); Can-making production line troubleshooting;management of engineering staff and workforce; spoilage control andimprovement; plan and oversee equipment purchases and in-houseconstruction and fabrication projects; plan and overseetechnological changes such as retrofitting machinery; facilitatenew product, parts and raw materials trials; manage equipmentdesign and product line design; provide and coordinate appropriatetraining for plant personnel.

In addition to the specificresponsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess thefollowing:

• Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s in Engineering (including Industrial Engineeringand/or Electronic Engineering), Business Administration, orManagement and three years of experience in manufacturing-basedsupervisory role.
• Preferred RequirementsBackground in education,training or experience must include demonstrated holistic knowledgeand understanding of the metal can-making process; experience withmetal can-making troubleshooting; demonstrated ability to identifyspecific problems throughout the production line that reduceproduction; experience with preventive and corrective maintenanceassessment; demonstrated experience in cost reduction and costavoidance; experience with development of policy and procedure;Good Leadership, strategic vision and ability to analyze and solveproblems; experience in management of engineering staff andworkforce, and in employee relations; Ability to apply intensiveand diversified evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptationand modification of standard plant engineering techniques,procedures, and criteria; Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, and effective negotiation skills-Competencies Good oral and written communications skills.

Good recordkeeping skills. Good listening skills. . Ability to understand andspeak basic English. Attention to detail, thoroughness,organization,

• Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the associate isregularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with handsand arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, orcrawl.
• The associate may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include closevision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
• Working Conditions Generally, works in a plant environment but will be required toperform some job duties inside a typical office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the associate may beexposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
• The associate may be exposed to a wide range oftemperatures.

The noise level is frequently loud.
