Qualified candidates must have knowledge of process optimization, process anomaly analysis, ergonomic design principles, lean manufacturing principles, bottleneck analysis, root cause analysis, Kaizen, skills matrix analysis, Pareto analysis, VBA programming, six sigma, work study.

Job duties to be performed

• Monitor existing manufacturing processes and recommend possible improvements while developing and implementing all manufacturing work instructions and procedures, streamlining logistical operations to ensure smooth flow of raw materials
• Responsible for raw material management, including procurement and inventory control, by applying JIT inventory systems, ABC analysis, and EOQ models to optimize supply chain processes
• Coordinate with multiple carriers for effective management of empty containers, leveraging TQM strategies, logistics optimization models, and carrier performance metrics for efficient container logistics
• Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures to improve production efficiency and quality
• Conduct analysis of raw material unloading procedures to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational performance
• Apply process optimization techniques to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Apply knowledge of Lean Manufacturing to design plant layout, material flow, and work force utilization for maximum efficiency and safety
• Apply knowledge of Work Study to perform on-site data collection, motion analysis, process improvement as well as training and development
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality and operability problems on production lines.
