This position requires a deep understanding of Lean methodologies, value stream management, and the ability to implement sustainable solutions that align with organizational goals.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead lean transformations within manufacturing cells to improve process quality and create capacity by reducing cycle time, inventory, and waste
Establish and sustain site standards for Lean and IE tools: visual management, 5S, daily management, 3P, facility layout, capacity analysis
Be a champion of Kaizen that positively impacts product flow, production to TAKT and inventory turns
Participate in the sites daily management process including daily management meetings and genba walks
Facilitate, train, and coach others in the use of Lean and structured problem-solving tools
Facilitate Kaizen events in alignment with the Site Kaizen roadmap
Maintain shop floor layout in AutoCAD to facilitate efficient equipment rearrangements
Maintain capacity models to support manufacturing readiness
Coach and collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions at the site including operators, support staff, and the leadership team to help progress our lean culture and drive continuous improvement
Educate, coach, and mentor others on Lean philosophy and application
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering / Lean experience)
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience

5S, Kanban, Setup Reduction, Poka-Yoke, and Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, SMED, Heijunka
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Passion for driving continuous improvement
Experience with facilitation of Kaizen events, workshops, sprints, etc.
Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD
