Position Overview:
The client is seeking 4 experienced Contract Industrial/Manufacturing Engineers to support a short-term project focused on improving data accuracy in our Oracle ERP system. These roles are onsite-only at our Manufacturers Road facility in Chattanooga, TN and will be critical in evaluating and correcting work definitions, particularly within fabrication part routings.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze fabrication part routings within Oracle ERP Identify and correct inaccurate work definitions (carried over from AX migration) Evaluate cost data, including material vs. overall cost discrepancies Provide actionable feedback and implement adjustments to improve routing accuracy Collaborate with internal teams to align routing data with actual operations Support continuous improvement and data integrity initiatives across fabrication processes
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Background in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Strong understanding of costing, routings, and fabrication processes Experience working with enterprise-level ERP systems Some exposure to CAD systems (helpful, but not mandatory) Comfortable working independently to identify and resolve system errors Open to candidates from the automotive sector, provided they have relevant experience in manufacturing routing and costing
