Summary:

Seeking a Production Launch Engineer to oversee manufacturing operations and support new program launches for Tier-1 Automotive production.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in supervision or business-related field preferred2 to 4 years of leadership experienceExperience with lean production, continuous flow, Toyota Production Systems, and metal machining, fabrication, or assembly in the automotive industry

Preferred Skills:

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to establish a leadership role and promote team systems

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee manufacturing operations in a specific area of the facilityAssist in developing unit budgets and performance targetsExecute production to achieve customer order/shipment requirementsSupport new program launches from process development to manufacturing capabilitySupervise and provide direction to team leaders for all operations on responsible shiftBuild and support continuity and communications between shiftsSupport inventory reduction and cost improvement strategiesMaintain positive employee relations and developmentManage achievement of quality, quantity, and cost objectivesSupport ongoing safety initiatives and adherence to safety policiesProvide support to team leaders in the execution of safety, quality, 5S, warranty reduction, delivery targets, and team leader development initiativesEnsure compliance with all quality, health, safety, and environmental proceduresWork daily overtime and weekends as necessaryMaintain privacy of all PHI per HIPAA regulations

Pay Details:
