Industrial Engineer 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Collierville, TN 38017 This position will be on-site in Collierville, TN (not a remote position). Relocation not included.

Job Summary:

Assists in the preparation, execution and follow-up to assist Supervisors/Managers in sustaining changes implemented during Rapid Continuous Improvement events.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
    None Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    • Demonstrates the behaviors of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism towards supervisors and co-workers, and self-directed task completion.
    • Maintains clean work area.
    • Must comply with all departmental SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), Employee Handbook Policies, including attendance, and all safety rules and standards.
    • Works normal shift hours and overtime as required.
    • Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers in all departments to maximize production efficiencies as needed.
    • Leads/facilitates the preparation and execution of improvement activities, including, but no limited to, training, data collection, event logistics and developing mechanisms to measure and monitor the success of the events.
    • Assists in the identification of potential events and lean implementation strategy.
    • Develops, configures and optimizes industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
    • Assesses processes, measures/gathers data and interprets data.
    • Develops best practices, routine and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality output.
    • Provides process documentation and operating instructions.
    • Works to become site expert in the use and application of Lean tools and principles in both production and non-production environments.
    • Assists in the training of others in these principles.
    • Assists in the preparation, execution and follow-up to assist Supervisors/Managers in sustaining changes implemented during Rapid Continuous Improvement events.
    • Manages information technology production projects.
    • Liaises and collaborates with other engineering and information technology staff to resolve production related information technology issues.
    • Develops detailed production plans and ensures the execution of same based on data collected about customer requirements.
    • Utilization CAD CAM Software to develop/design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing workspace.
    • Ability to utilize 3D printing to aid manufacturing and maintenance.

    D Modeling CAD/CAM Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Engineering from four-year College or university. Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures. Previous Lean/Six Sigma experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    Job Type:
    Full-time Pay:

    $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
