SUMMARY:
Oversees process engineering activities Operations, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and process optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with capital projects and major maintenance. Analyze production processes, recommend design changes, and improve operations (quality, safety, yield, pollution control). Ensure compliance with codes and regulations. Develop engineering solutions for production problems and bottlenecks. Supervise equipment installations and contractor activities. Monitor asset performance, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Manage the Continuous Improvement Program to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs. Track performance against budgeted goals and provide data-driven support for improvements. Challenge existing processes and identify best practice opportunities.
AUTHORIZATIONS
Authority to recommend hiring, training, and supervision decisions.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and AutoCAD (preferred). Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and inventory control. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
