Aviation Powerplant TechnicianFull-Time / Monday-Friday6 Months Experience RequiredAirframe and Powerplant License Required

Summary:
- Perform Maintenance Manual level repairs, and/or Overhaul of wide body engines in accordance with approved data and published work scopes. Prior experience in the maintenance, repair and/or overhaul required. Working with a dynamic team, troubleshooting and delivering continuous improvement to all internal processes.

Duties:
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following
- Read, interpret, and apply instructions from approved data
- Maintain and/or complete required records and applicable maintenance forms
- Possess a working knowledge of company maintenance manuals

Qualifications:
- MRO experience
- Airframe and Powerplant License required
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations
- Occasional field service work and travel are required
- Large engine experience in a setting other than line maintenance
- Understands and complies with FAA requirements
- Able to read, understand and follow OEM manual instructions
- Ability to perform multi-faceted projects in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced operational environment
- Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and understand the English Language
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and web-based applications.
