Job Description:
During project stage, responsible for assisting the project team in installation of the various equipment. Once the project is over, should carry out routine daily checks, preventive maintenance and attend to the breakdowns. Should have basic knowledge about the assembly and working of various elements like Gear box, coupling, transmission shaft, pulley, chain, sprocket etc. Knowledge about dismantling, assembly of components, use of measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer etc. is a must. Should have knowledge about the working of Hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems. Should be able to read and understand the component drawing, assembly drawing and hydraulic / pneumatic circuits. Should have knowledge about Fits, Tolerances, types of fits, hydraulic jack, puller, bearing fitment etc. Maintain accurate logs of various activities and maintenance schedules. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with other team members, including Production and Electrical personnel, to optimize and improve the equipment availability. Ensure general housekeeping in the area. Qualifications Proficient in using diagnostic tools Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a mechanical environment Relevant certifications in mechanical technology or related fields are a plus
