Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial builds of complex prototype mechanical assemblies such as custom electric actuators, mechanisms and structures for robotic systems. Create test plans and procedures with minimal engineering guidance. Performs a critical role by identifying detailed and nuanced mechanical issues and recommending corrective actions to design engineers. Develop, design, and document detailed assembly processes and work techniques.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 6 years experience that includes technical hands-on mechanical expertise. (For example automotive, motorsports, robotics, aircraft repair, etc. Expertise in assembling, troubleshooting, and servicing complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Experience in developing processes and tooling/fixturing for assembly of first article prototype builds with minimal engineering guidance.
