job summary: Mechanical Engineering Technician needed for immediate temporary position in the Durham, NC area for 2+ months! This is a great opportunity for an Engineering person on break to work in a technical automation environment for the summer! The right person for this role will have a solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret drawings produced in AutoCAD Inventor or Solidworks. Responsibilities will include the gathering of data and measurements of custom parts for automation equipment used in the robotics industry and preparation for final equipment integration. This person must have hands-on experience performing detailed part assembly and the ability to document finding using MS Office suite tools.
