Job Description:

Perform hands-oninstallation support for new or modified production equipment.

Provide mechanical discipline support in the construction,installation, debug, troubleshooting and startup of equipment andautomated systems, including hands-on to the point of turnover tooperations at both domestic and international manufacturing sites;majority of time be spent on the floor working on equipment.

Supervise and provide direction to internal maintenance, andoutside contract trades during all aspects of equipmentinstallation and conversion such as demolition, construction,installation, testing, and debug of production equipment.

Experience:

3 years’ experience in. Ability to work hands-on withthe equipment using typical hand tools, instruments, andmeasurement/alignment devices. Strong focus on job site safety andproactive safety approach.

Process variable understanding:

flow,temperature, rate, pressure, level Determines and recommends bestsolution from a series of alternatives within plant guidelines.

Interpreting drawings and schematics to aid in troubleshooting.

Familiar with process piping system design, including P&IDsThorough understanding of mechanical drive trains, electrical andpneumatic actuators. Works well in a team environment, is aself-starter and results oriented & effective in various settingsto provide and present necessary information to project,department, and site leaders.

Education:

AAS Mechanical EngineeringTechnology, BS Mechanical Engineering Technology, BS MechanicalEngineering (Equivalent work experience may be considered in rarecircumstances.)
