Eldredge, Inc. is a transportation and waste management company based in West Chester, PA supporting the mid-Atlantic but specializing in industrial and commercial clients nationwide. Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety of the work completed by adhering to the environmental health & safety policies and procedures and identifying any potentially unsafe conditions or procedures to the Supervisor or Manager Ensure proper housekeeping to maintain safe, efficient, and clean work areas in tank farms, can dike, around pit area, on the docks, and throughout the plant including but not limited to refuse and recycling removal and management, sweeping, dusting, mopping, restock and equipment/PPE management, keeping floors and surfaces free of debris, dust, oily product, and routine/daily facility inspections for cleanliness and proper upkeep Provides courteous and professional service to receiving bulk loads and drum loads Take a proper sample of material being received and ensure that the paperwork is in accordance with regulatory and permit requirements Recording pertinent information regarding each batch processed Perform various manual activities Unload material into the proper receiving tanks after plant approval Ensure the safe and efficient loading of oil and glycol tankers for shipment to customers Participate in the periodic cleaning and maintaining of tanks and vessels Act as back up to the Process Technician for the filter press Cross train on oil and water treatment process Ensure required booms are in the proper positions and are replaced once they become dirty May operate equipment, such as company vehicles, forklifts, excavator, pickup trucks and other various equipment. Communicate with the plant manager to ensure the equipment is maintained or scheduled for repair with Eldredge Equipment Services. Assists in loading outbound trailers, stabilizing sludge bits with excavator, and preforming inventory. Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by management as needed Requirements Successfully complete a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Must have a valid, active driver’s license to operate equipment and company vehicles. Minimum 1-year work relevant experience in labor or technician experience in a plant or other similar industry. An equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience also may be accepted. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Lifting up to 60 lbs., pulling and/or pushing and carrying; climbing, walking, standing, sitting, lifting, pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, and crouching. Color perception (Red, Green, Amber). Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. Reliable and consistent transportation to/from facilities. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience operating excavators or similar heavy equipment is a plus. High school diploma/GED is required. Basic computer skills preferred, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and similar applications. Must be able to use a smartphone for call, text, and video conferencing.

$20.00 – $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
