CNC Service Technician you will:
Perform a wide variety of tasks associated with servicing,repairing and operating multi-axis Zimmermann CNC Lathes andMilling machines Diagnose and repair 5-Axis CNC Machines used to cut complexfiberglass parts for helicopters and aerospace applications Diagnose and repair Enclave industrial Ovens used for processes,including heat treating materials, curing coatings, drying andbaking Have advanced knowledge and understanding of operation CNC controlsand operation of CMMs Use precision test equipment to analyze, troubleshoot and repaircomplex mechanical and electrical problems. Successfully coordinate and complete the installation of allmachine tools. Work closely with customers, vendors, OEM’s, and otherpersonnel. Assist other service engineers and preventive maintenancetechnicians. Perform general scraping and fitting of machine tool components(not mandatory but improve your value). Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitry to component level andany major machine tool problem. Perform a variety of advanced specialized machine tool repairprocesses. Dismantle and prepare machines for shipment. Level and alignment of machines. Disassemble, repair, and rebuild machine tool sub-assemblies andassemblies. Organize, tag and mark components for future assembly. Identify, repair, or replace damaged components. First time power up and troubleshooting of machines. Report activities and expenses timely and accurately Train other employees for advancement Train customers on operation of CNC control systems. Communicate with customers, vendors, OEM’s and team personnel. Ability to travel to customer’s facilities often and on shortnotice. Work with very limited supervision. This is a Full-Time Direct Hire Opportunity For the RightCandidate The ideal candidate must have: Associate degree in Electronic Engineering or related field ofstudy-experience may be substituted for the education Advanced machine tool knowledge and understanding ofterminology. 5+ or more years of experience in machine tool field service Complete knowledge of mechanical systems and components. Full understanding of multiple machine tool specifications and havean advanced knowledge of test equipment. Mechanical hand tools and toolbox. Have good knowledge of parametric programming and ladder logic. Working knowledge of applications processes and programming. Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing or 6S productionand quality core principals The ability to do final scrape and or fitting of most machine toolcomponents is desirable (not mandatory). Solid computer skills. Ability to provide documentation to meet ITAR requirements
