We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in a role where you will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency and quality.
Conduct analysis to identify areas for process improvements and cost efficiency savings.
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions.
Perform statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and optimize production processes.
Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials for manufacturing staff.
Lead Kaizen events and other process improvement activities. Qualifications Engineering Education/degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field is desired.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience/ability to identify, develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for production, ensure high quality and cost-effective processes. Experience with engineering tools like DFMA (Design for Manufacturing Assembly), 5S, DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and Root Cause Analysis.
Proficient in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
We would welcome those candidates with experience/an understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles; Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred.
Experience with technical troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills and ability to coordinate, work with cross-functional team members on projects that touch many areas of specialty.
Knowledge of RVIA Requirements for Safety, Compliance and Quality is a PLUS.
