Our Geneva Eastern Sheet Metal Plant is a key manufacturing partner within our Ruskin business segment, producing high-performance dampers and louvers designed to optimize airflow, efficiency, and building safety. We take pride in precise engineering, durable materials, and amitment to continuous improvement.
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and drive process efficiency, quality enhancements, and cost optimization in our production operations.
What You’ll Do
Provide technical support to manufacturing teams, production supervisors, and operators.
Analyze product and process workflows to identify efficiency gains, quality improvements, and cost reduction opportunities.
Develop and refine manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and consistency.
Partner with vendors to design and implement production-specific equipment and automation solutions.
Ensure safetypliance and proactively address potential hazards in equipment and processes.
Optimize facility layouts and material flow for improved manufacturing efficiency.
Work closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Lead capital projects, including equipment selection, budgeting, and implementation.
Support new product introduction by collaborating with product engineering teams on manufacturability.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
3-5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of CNC programming (preferred but not required).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
