We provide support for our Mission Operations Portfolio area which design, build, test, deploy, operate, and maintain a wide variety of mission critical platforms and systems for commercial and government customers. Position Responsibilities Knowledge of how the business and organization operates; knowledge of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization understand the competition and the marketplace Leads teams in analyzing product development, innovative producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies. Conceptualizes and oversees the implementation of the program architecture for build. Develops manufacturing plans or concepts for high level program requirements. Resolves complex technical problems. Organizes technical aspects of proposal development. Develops and authors new engineering principles, theories and advanced technologies. Develops advanced design solutions. Conducts research resulting in new product or business opportunities. Consults on lean principles and technologies for enterprise wide initiatives. Documents and communicates producibility best practices. Identifies training needs. Establishes procedures, standards, protocols and reporting requirements. Understand how to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network; understand the cultures of organizations. Using a variety of media, clearly convey information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message Make customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions Provide products and services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and processes and embrace first-time quality as a way of life – not accepting, creating or passing any defects and speaking up Identify and correct conditions and behaviors that affect employee, public, and customer safety; uphold safety standards; demonstrate proactive safety culture leadership This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. secret clearance Pre Start and final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience). Minimum of 6 years in manufacturing engineering role 5 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience): Experience in MESci Experience in electronics or circuit card assembly Experience in mid to high volume assembly factories producing complex products.
