Responsibilities
- Design Dredging Equipment using Solidworks, Autocad, and
ANSYS FEA/CFD
software
- Modify and maintain existing designs
- Support production on site and at off-site locations
- Write Work Instructions and Operator/Maintenance/Repair manuals
- Creation/organization/communication of technical and design data
- Project management and Supplier development/negotiation/support
- Occasional travel may be required
- Obtain experience and develop skill for future management positions Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of related experience
- Experience designing mechanical parts and systems
- Experience with Autocad and Solidworks or similar 3D software
- Experience in ANSYS FEA and
FLUENT/CFX CFD
is a plus
- Experience in the hydraulic design of Centrifugal Slurry Pumps is a plus
