Hiring Engineering Technicians! Job Description As an Engineering Technician, you will play a pivotal role in building and testing complex mechanical and electrical systems within a cleanroom environment. You will support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality enhancements. Your contributions will be key to the successful manufacture and delivery of high-level systems. Responsibilities Produce products in accordance with established specifications and contribute to the improvement of products and processes. Manufacture and deliver complex systems following established procedures, solving technical problems as they arise. Actively contribute to the pilot production process and transition to volume production. Acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products and processes, and share relevant expertise. Support good teamwork by seeking solutions and implementing departmental tasks. Coordinate activities outlined in the production plan and closely monitor the use of tools, materials, and equipment. Essential Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical and electrical assembly. Experience in lean manufacturing, engineering, and process improvement. Ability to conduct testing and troubleshooting within a cleanroom environment. Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronics, schematics, and test equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical or equivalent experience preferred. Manufacturing internship or co-op experience. Lean Manufacturing Training (Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferred. Mechanical skills. Work Environment The role offers multiple shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts as well as compressed work week options. The cleanroom environment requires strict adherence to protocols, and training will be provided for all shifts during the first two weeks on-site. Shift differentials are offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts, as well as for certain compressed work week shifts. The work is conducted onsite in a semiconductor industry setting.
