Design Engineer (3-month contract) Job Description We are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Design Engineer to lead the development and execution of composite materials. In this role, you will be tasked with designing composite structures, conducting research on new materials, and evaluating material properties. You will ensure all composite designs align with technical and safety regulations while developing innovative and cost-effective composite solutions. Moreover, you will collaborate with production teams to ensure the successful manufacturing of composite products, analyze and interpret test data to suggest improvements, and stay updated with advancements in composite technologies and materials. You will also document all stages of the design and manufacturing process for future reference and analysis. Hard Skills 7-10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in composite manufacturing Aerospace knowledge Experience with Mil standards for design Understanding of DFAR Experience with autoclaves Experience with banding techniques for design Soft Skills Strong experience in materials engineering Ability to analyze and interpret test data Collaborative mindset Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Florida.
