Manufacturing Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electronics hardware systems. This role requires deep expertise in PCBA design , power protection circuits , and hardware validation -particularly in harsh or demanding environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and driven by performance, quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and simulate high-performance PCBAs using tools like Altium or SolidWorks PCB Create detailed schematics and optimize component selection for functionality, cost, and manufacturability Lead hardware bring-up activities including validation, debugging, and cross-functional integration Develop reliable power protection circuits (overvoltage, undervoltage, battery management) Generate Gerber files and production-ready assets for board manufacturing Develop circuits for systems involving: PWM brushless motor controls RFID, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular CAN Bus, LIN protocols , and electrical harnesses Implement EMI/ESD protection strategies and validate against FCC, CE , or other regulatory standards Select components and design solutions for harsh environmental conditions Integrate a range of sensors (gas, dirt, pressure, temperature, humidity) into hardware systems Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.) for testing and troubleshooting Participate in and contribute to DFMEA and PFMEA reviews Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, and supply chain teams to support DFM and DFT Document development and testing processes according to the Hardware Development Life Cycle (HDLC)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware design and product development Proficiency in C programming for hardware-level interaction Hands-on experience with board-level troubleshooting and validation tools Demonstrated experience with EMI suppression , ESD protection , and battery systems Familiarity with sensor integration , GUI/touchscreen interfaces, and data storage architecture Experience developing for compliance standards (e.g., FCC, CE)
