Job Description:

Our client, a leading Life Sciences company , is looking for anAutomation and Digital Engineer. This is for an initial duration of6 months and is located in Pensacola, FL.

Job Type:

Contract(Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship)Top 3 skills:

• Knowledge of electrical safety circuits category orSIL
• Ability to program PLC’s preferably Rockwell
• Troubleshootand commission control systems The Automation and Digital Engineeris responsible for projects to automate and digitalizemanufacturing.

What you will do:

• Use insights from Gemba toidentify valuable problems to solve and build cases for automationand digitalization of our manufacturing.
• Research alternativetechnologies to establish state-of-the-art, then design, build andtest solutions, working with third-party vendors and contractors asrequired.
• Commission, qualify and validate new manufacturingtechnologies, managing these changes according to safety, qualityand regulatory standards.
• Support troubleshooting of existingequipment, identify opportunities for continuous improvements, andimplement technology upgrades.
• Participate in activities todefine and deploy global specifications for automation anddigitalization in our manufacturing plants.
