The Project Engineer I provides engineering and technical support for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. This role works closely with project
managers, internal engineering team members, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to coordinate tasks, manage documentation, and solve technical issues during the project lifecycle. Essential Functions

  • Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects according to deadlines and budgets.
  • Prepare and review project documentation including schedules, reports, submittals, and change orders.
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project leadership.
  • Support field activities by addressing technical questions and helping to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, company policies, and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on constructability and value engineering.
  • Assist in procurement activities for assigned projects
  • Track project costs and support project billing and invoicing processes.
  • Maintain organized project records and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as required. Standard Essential Functions

  • Familiarity with project management, scheduling, requirements, and program office functions
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Experience
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in engineering, aerospace, or project management.
