Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and improve manufacturing processes, conduct time studies, analyze production data, and develop tooling solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and maintain process documentation for audits and improvements. Responsibilities Design and improve manufacturing processes in compliance with FDA regulations. Conduct time studies and optimize workflows. Analyze production data using Excel and Design of Experiments (DOE). Apply Theory of Constraints (TOC) principles to resolve bottlenecks. Develop tooling solutions using SolidWorks. Support rapid prototyping efforts. Maintain detailed process documentation. Collaborate with operators through Gemba walks. Work with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines. Document processes for audits and continuous improvements. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably within the medical device industry. Proficiency in Excel, DOE, and SolidWorks. Experience with time studies, load leveling, and tooling design. Familiarity with rapid prototyping and process documentation. Hands-on experience with Gemba practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Class 1 medical devices. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints. Experience with Mastercam routing. Ability to implement pull systems. Work Environment This position is based in a clean manufacturing facility.
