Designs manufacturing processes procedures andproduction layouts for assemblies equipment installation processingmachining and material handling. Designs arrangement of machineswithin plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productivelayout. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures forthe fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions thataffect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design tofactory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection andtest requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance ofmachinery equipment and tools to verify their efficiency andinvestigates and initiates corrective action of problems anddeficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturingprocesses that are applicable to statistical process control andmay develop those techniques. Provides guidance to engineeringregarding design concepts and specification requirements to bestutilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processesand procedures are in compliance with regulations.

RequiredExperience:

At least 1 year of Manufacturing Engineer experiencewith Circuit Card Assembly’s Plated Through Hole area. At least 1year of experience with component prep, wave solder, select solderand AOI. At least 1 year of experience with CCAs and PTH assembly.

At least 1 year of experience with specifications IPC-A-610 and

J-STD-001.

Preferred Experience:

At least 1 year of experience withconformal coating spray processes.
