Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer for a 6-month contract to support manufacturing operations, process improvement, and new product introductions (NPI). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Six Sigma, process and design engineering, CNC manufacturing, and experience in medical device production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes in compliance with FDA and
ISO 13485
standards Support new product introduction (NPI) by collaborating with R D and design teams Implement Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles to improve quality and efficiency Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and validation protocols Design and improve fixtures, tools, and equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Lead process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions Provide technical support for CNC machining operations, including programming, setup, and optimization Collaborate with machinists and technicians to ensure high-precision manufacturing of components Ensure manufacturability of designs through close coordination with CNC and fabrication teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, preferably within the medical device industry Proficient in Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred) Experience with CNC machining operations (programming, setup, troubleshooting) Hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD Strong understanding of NPI processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) Familiarity with
ISO 13485
