Manufacturing/Calibration Engineer Job Description The Calibration Engineer will manage the calibration and preventive maintenance program for the site, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all activities. This role involves utilizing internal and third-party calibration databases to schedule on-site calibrations and collaborate with calibration suppliers. The engineer will work closely with area owners to complete creation forms and process change documentation. Additionally, the candidate will investigate non-conformances and update procedures to enhance process efficiency and maintain compliance with industry standards. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Participate in equipment-related work orders such as internal calibrations and preventive/corrective maintenance according to assigned job plans and procedures. Verify the assigned preventive maintenance and calibration work orders in a timely manner. Ensure that the calibration and preventive maintenance labels on equipment are up-to-date and align with relevant documents and the tool management system. Interpret and analyze external calibration/maintenance reports and equipment instruction manuals. Oversee the external calibration/maintenance work orders that are performed on-site. Participate in the relevant trainings and execute non-conformance reports on time and per procedure. Purchase and manage outsourced maintenance and calibration of equipment based on statement of work contracts. Work with production leads and area engineers to complete documentation for creating new equipment and changing existing equipment in the tool management system. Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management. Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. Ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
