Controls Engineer – Manufacturing Plant Position Available In Polk, Florida

Keymark Corporation of Florida, an aluminum extrusionmanufacturing plant, is actively interviewing applicants forControls Engineer at the Lakeland manufacturing plant.

• Relocationis being offered at this time for this position.

Compensation willbe based on experience and capabilities, ranging from$80,000

• 110,000/year initially.

This is an advanced-level positionwithin the Maintenance Support Department. In this role, you mustpossess competency in developing, coordinating, and implementingPLC-based controls systems and PC-based SCADA projects.

You willprovide technical assistance on projects to ensure successfulimplementation of the project scope. You will participate in newproduct development to promote profitability, productionefficiency, quality, service, and cost-effectiveness. As a Keymark employee, you will also enjoy

• -Proven experience creatingelectrical drawings, panel layouts, and P&I diagrams (AutoCADElectrical)
• -Proven experience in PLC ladder logic programmingwith Rockwell (RS5), (RS500), (Studio5000), Siemens (TIA), PLCs
• -Proven experience with the current and legacy fieldbustechnologies
• Ethernet I/P, Profinet, ControlNet,Profibus)
• Proven experience with operator interfacetechnologies (Panelbuilder, RSView, Rockwell Factory Talk ViewME)
• Knowledge of Ethernet networking
• -Proven knowledge inupgrading legacy PLC-based systems within the same platform(PLC5-RS5000) (Legacy HMI Panelview-PVPlus)
• -Knowledge ofServer and Database programming and configuration is desired (SQLServer)
• -A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical,Industrial, or Computer Engineering is desired.
• Responsibilities
• -Train Junior Maintenance Technicians inthe complex PLC-based systems onsite to develop their knowledge andabilities
• -Assist the Maintenance Department in streamliningthe production process through PLC program modifications andtroubleshooting existing systems
• -Create electrical drawings,panel layouts, and P&I diagrams (AutoCAD Electrical)
• Supervise the installation of new equipment-related control systemswith support from the maintenance staff
• -Manage all Rockwell,Siemens (TIA) software tech support agreements, and PartsManagement Agreements (Allen Bradley)
• -Manage all existing andnew PLC programs library for all PLC, HMI, VFD, systems, manualslibrary for controls equipment, electrical, and panel drawingslibrary along with updating of Plant Single line as required
• -Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned bymanagement.
