Sitework Engineer Position Available In Clayton, Georgia

Sitework Engineer Forest Park, GA System One is currently seeking a Sitework Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Forest Park, GA.

Sitework Engineer Responsibilities:

Provide sitework engineering design services and field support Preparation of designs and calculations Conduct site walk downs Develop cost estimates and material takeoffs Provide schedule and staffing input for projects Efficiently transition between multiple projects Apply technical writing This position requires travel 25% of the time.

Sitework Engineer Requirements:

7-10 years of related experience An accredited bachelor’s degree in civil engineering Knowledge of environmental regulations such as erosion control BMPs, GA-EPD, and NPDES Ability to develop scope definitions, schedules, material takeoffs, and cost estimates Ability to coordinate with others in the production of design documents Extensive knowledge or certification in erosion and sediment control and stormwater drainage and hydrology design Proficient using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for sitework design Previous experience in Civil sitework construction is a plus Must have a working knowledge and understanding of sitework design principals to be able to prepare accurate grading design plan sets Must display good technical writing skills Office suite proficiency Ability to build effective relationships with internal customers (i.e., project management, construction, maintenance, design engineering staff, etc.) and external customers (i.e. architects, contractors, vendors, etc.). Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)/Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is required for this position. A Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Georgia, or the ability to obtain one within 12-months of hire, is preferred.
