job summary: A Design and CAD Engineer is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Smyrna, GA area. This role provides critical support for design and CAD engineering activities by managing systems, coordinating design requests, producing documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of accurate technical data.

Smyrna, Georgia job type: Contract salary: $22.05 – 26.47 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Ideal for recent engineering graduates with strong project management and drawing interpretation skills.
Manage and maintain the Global Design SharePoint (GDS), ensuring data accuracy and standard compliance.
Coordinate with multiple design agencies to issue requests, resolve inquiries, and return completed materials.
Respond promptly to incoming design requests and prioritize based on business needs and timelines.
Collaborate with OEM suppliers to obtain required 3D data sets for design tasks.
Maintain and update the Shape Identification Directory (SID) to reflect current design assets.
Assist in creating CAD revisions and producing technical documentation for packaging designs.
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (preferably CATIA) and reading technical drawings is preferred.
Must possess strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Education and Experience:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.0-5 years of experience.
