Job Description
Description A Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for transforming prototypes into fully functional products. This role involves developing comprehensive plans that include tooling, work instructions, processes, equipment, and the Technical Data Package (TdP). The Manufacturing Engineer collaborates closely with Quality Engineering and the supply chain to ensure all aspects of production are aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products. Create and maintain tooling, work instructions, processes, and equipment specifications. Collaborate with Quality Engineering and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery. Release products into production and oversee their integration into the manufacturing system. Provide support to production technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources for efficient production. The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that all components are in place and that the production process runs smoothly from start to finish.
Skills & Qualifications Years of Experience:
- 4+ years of professional experience.
Relevant co-op or internship experience may be considered.
Education:
- A degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.
ERP Syetem Experience MRP System Experience Solidworks or Siemens NX experience Experience with work instructions
Secondary Skills:
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in bringing a product from initial design through production phases.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and wear many hats.
- Experience in high production environments is beneficial.
- Strong data management skills.
Experience Level 3-4+ years preferred
