Months JobSummary:

• The Project Lead, Devices has responsibility for theoverall performance of the CMOs and critical suppliers within theirportfolio.
• They achieve this by applying a number of guidingprinciples:
• Reliability of the CDMO/supplier to deliver on supplyor project commitments
• Robustness of the manufacturing processesin all technical, GMP and regulatory aspects
• Responsiveness toissues within manufacturing – ensuring expertise is available toquickly recover from issues
• Relationships with stakeholders -foundational to ensure performance of cross functional and matrixteams
• The Project Lead, Devices leads the Project Teams,including management of ongoing NPI Tools or other Projects, asneeded
• The role is accountable for assigned Technical Projects bycoordinating the necessary resources and setting the priorities tomeet the needs of downstream supply requirements and operations.
• The Project Lead, Devices will have an understanding of allmanufacturing and technical aspects relating to the sites withintheir portfolio, with a focus on Injection Molded components.
• Therole will include the close interaction with internal functions asthe CDMO / Manufacturing Operations SME on key projects andstrategic initiatives.
• Must be able to work across multiple timezones.
• Periodic travel to CDMO may be required (10%)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure performance of strategic supply and/orcontinuous improvement. This is achieved by ensuring reliability todeliver the manufacturing plans, robustness of the processes,responsiveness to issues and building strong relationships withVendors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead the CMO Project Teamscoordinating cross-functional and inter-company activitiesincluding assessment of injection Mold tooling capability orresourcing needs.
• Lead or support transversal initiative/projectto develop the operational excellence culture into Client ExternalManufacturing.
• Maintain the appropriate internal and externalgovernance structures to communicate and ensure project success.
• Provide the technical expertise to support CDMO in order to ensureeffective processes, optimize capacity utilization and deliveraccording to state-of-the-art quality standard.
• Perform 1st linetroubleshooting and investigation at CDMO for projects in Product.
• Identify continuous improvement and performance improvementopportunities at the CDMO, develop the long-range plans and deliverthe projects to achieve improved quality, cycle times and reducedcost of goods.
