About the role We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of scientific instruments. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, high-quality assembly processes and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will lead complex engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide mentorship to junior engineers. What you will bring to the role: 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in scientific or precision instrumentation Expertise in mechanical and/or electrical systems design for new products Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production optimization Proficiency in CAD tools, especially SolidWorks Working knowledge and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Experience communicating with vendors and suppliers to resolve part discrepancies and implement design adjustments Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex instrument assembly and performance issues Experience managing complex engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and task delegation Ability to analyze production performance metrics and implement process improvements Hands-on experience with machining, tools, repairs, and maintenance Familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO
14001, and
ISO 45001
