JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Manufacturing Engineering , this role is responsible for optimizing production manufacturing processes through developing, planning, and implementing improvements that positively impact safety, quality, labor, and delivery utilizing engineering principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production line technical support Provide necessary tooling, routers, labor standards, raw material structure, make vs. buy analysis, process instructions, and technical support for the timely implementation of engineering changes Accountable for achieving goals and objectives for the Mfg. Engineering group and Operations organization. Utilize PLM system including reviewing product design changes and assess manufacturing impact Recognize labor impact with process/design changes and implement plans with little impact to Mfg. departments. Develop business cases, write AFEs for funding procurement Develop process changes/improvements using SPC, PFMEA, and control plans Utilize root cause analysis methodology to solving manufacturing issues Will be working within an
ISO 9001
quality system and produce documentation acceptable to the customer Document and report work activity. Perform other related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Accredited University required Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, automotive preferred
