Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Dalton, GA 30721 Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturer of automotive components, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring product quality. This role involves close collaboration with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Dalton Plant, GA Salary Range :
$75,000-$85,000 Key Responsibilities Design and optimize manufacturing processes for productivity, quality, and safety. Implement lean manufacturing principles and cost-reduction initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the production floor. Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and training materials. Support the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of manufacturing equipment. Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product launches and process changes. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. Experience with PLCs, automation systems, and manufacturing equipment. Strong understanding of process flow, time studies, and root cause analysis. Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 or
IATF 16949
standards. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
